Condition: For Parts. We have for sale a Quincy QT-7.5 471CS80VCB 80 Gallon Vertical Air Compressor. The compressor will need a rebuilt motor and a new run capacitor for proper operation. Therefore, it is being sold AS/IS for parts or refurbishment.
The photos show the exact item(s) the buyer will receive.
Notes: The motor has noisy bearings and needs to be rebuilt. During testing, it was found to have a bad run capacitor that needs to be replaced as well. The installed capacitor was used for testing only. The original is on the motor for the exact number for its replacement.
The tank itself is in very good condition and maintains air pressure for an extended amount of time. It was able to maintain 120 psi for 4 days without any leak-down.
The pressure switch works fine for starting and stopping as it should. It was adjusted for upper-end pressure shutoff and tested fine with no issues.
