Condition: For Parts or Not Working. Comes in non-original packaging. This analyzer is in fair cosmetic condition with minor scuffs/scratches and residues all over, but especially on top and bottom. The bottom is heavily dented.

Notes: This system is in PARTIAL working condition. Upon initial power-up, the cooling fan produced significant noise, although the noise diminished after several minutes of operation. The display is dim at start-up but it warms up to bright-enough-to-use in a couple of minutes. Self-tests pass. The screen after boot-up is shown, with the firmware and options displayed, "No IF found: check R input level" (R was disconnected) and an extremely noisy trace all over the screen. Looping R to RF out gave a pretty flat line, on Channel 1 and Channel 2. Setting the power down -10dB dropped the trace one division; settin power up to +5 sent the trace half a division over the center. Setting +20dB set an overload fault and turned off the RF output (oops!). Our testing setup for this is poor, but we were able to verify R, A, and B can all measure RF outputs (from the RF OUT) that make sense. We made a very dirty TEE fitting with about a dozen adapters and introduced a large amount of dips on the trace from all the mismatches, but the dips were the same, approximately, on A and B, and on Channels 1 and 2. Pressing every button gave some kind of effect. Turning the knob increased/decreased values appropriately. Without an S-parameter Test Set we were not able to perform better testing. No other testing was done.
