Vintage Olympus BH Compound Microscope With Vertical Illuminator w/ BF/DF Optics

Condition: Used. Comes in non-original packaging.  This microscope is in Fair cosmetic condition with lots of scuffs/scratches from prior use.  The eyepieces have some notable dust deep inside, but it does not really distract from using the scope; otherwise the glass looks good.  The base has "FAB8" heavily scratched in the paint in several places.  There are several spots with stubborn adhesive label residues.  There are several spots with what looks like light corrosion around the stage.  The paint is worn badly on several corners of the base.  There is no cover over the illuminator filter area.  There is a big plastic placard "SCP 81" but it is unlikely related to SCP-081, which is a joke sci-fi nerds will find mildly amusing. Please note: there is no polarizer in the analyzer under the head.

Notes: This scope is in (mostly) Good working condition.  The view is bright and clear.   The focus and illuminator controls work as expected.  The brightfield/darkfield changer works.  The wafer comparison slider moves very easily, and is easy to bump and move by accident!  The only real problem is that, sometimes, the view will be out of alignment from the left to the right eyepiece.  Pulling on the right eyetube fixes this.  Something is loose in this old head, but usually the alignment is good enough that a user's eyes will automatically compensate.  No other testing was done.
