Condition: For Parts or Not Working. Comes in non-original packaging.  This sourcemeter is in Fair cosmetic condition, with minor blemishes from prior use.  There are scuffs/scratches, especially on top, and some residues from old adhesive labels.  The back part of the adjustment knob is broken, and the knob doesn't hold onto the shaft very well.  This came to us with a red tag of REJECT from a calibration lab, saying it failed without specifying how.

Notes: This sourcemeter is in PARTIAL working condition.  Both channels are able to sink and source current, at least up to 1A.  Both channels have the same problem: they will not give more than 1A output, regardless of limit setting.  Instead, when we used our 2Ω resistor to test 6V @ 3A output, they would only give just over 2V before they would give an overflow message.  On the 40V range we were able to get a full 40V output, but when the displays indicated 40V our separate meter indicated 39.9V, which is not close enough for this kind of instrument.  We are not sure what may be wrong with this unit.  The controls work as expected. Note that some segments of the display are not as bright as others.  No other testing was done.
