Condition: Used. The unit is in heavily used and aged condition with rust, grime, scuffs, and scratches throughout. The lock on the back is gone. The photos show the exact item(s) the buyer will receive.

Notes: The unit was removed from the world-famous Threadgill's restaurant in Austin, TX. The scale works, but the penny mechanism that uncovers the weight and the fortune is not working right. Sometimes the penny gets stuck and you have to knock on the side of the coin slot. Once the penny drops, the piece that covers the weight and fortune does not move. Knocking on the side will move the cover over to reveal the weight and fortune, but stepping off the scale does not always move the cover back. We couldn't figure out how the coins are collected / emptied. Moving the coin drop manually makes the coin fall out of the back of the machine. Some Thing is Not Right Inside so we're selling this as-is, but it's still a pretty cool and interesting piece and perhaps someone more knowledgeable can get it back in fully working condition. Warning - some of the character readings are not very nice! No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.

Final Sale – No Returns

Products listed as "No Returns" are sold as-is, with no guarantee of functional status.

Returns for “as-is” products are only considered if the reason is seller error (e.g., wrong product sent, inauthenticity).

Return Authorization

If a return is requested due to seller error, Dougdeals reserves the right to accept or deny the return.
Unauthorized returns of “as-is” products will be made available for return to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.
If a return is accepted:
- The return must include an assigned RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
- The item must be received within 21 days of return authorization.
Returns received after the 21-day return window will only be returned to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.

Return Requests

Seller Error: Examples include wrong product sent or inauthenticity.
- Dougdeals may deduct original and return shipping costs from the refund for items found to be accurately described.
- Additional deductions may be applied to cover labor costs for processing returns.
Buyer Error: Examples include wrong part ordered, compatibility issues, no longer needed, or found a better price.
- No returns are accepted for buyer error.

Exclusions and Limitations

Replacement or substitute items may be sent instead of a refund at Dougdeals’ discretion.
Returned items must be in the same condition as when sent and include all components.
Dougdeals reserves the right to deduct costs from refunds for items altered or damaged during shipping.

Shipping and Responsibility

Original shipping costs are non-refundable for orders shipped internationally or to U.S. territories, Alaska, or Hawaii.
Buyers are responsible for:
- International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees.
- Any loss or damage during transit for shipments arranged by the buyer.
Damage occurring during transit via Dougdeals-arranged third-party services or Dougdeals employee delivery must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
Failure to note damage voids Dougdeals’ ability to assist with damage claims, and the buyer must seek restitution from the shipping service.
Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
