Condition: Used. Meets spec with slight degradation in cooling. Watlow F4 retrofit makes for a smoother user experience. No unusual noises during operation. Electrical compartment clean & tidy.

Cosmetically excellent with slight scuffs and scratches consistent with normal use. Clean interior. Supple door seal; door operates/latches easily. Wheels operate well.

Notes: We fired up this chamber and noted the TPS-branded Partlow 1462 control was not controlling cooling. It was removed and a single-channel Watlow F4 was installed. The F4 is much more intuitive and supports ramp/soak, 40 profiles, PID control and computer interface via EIA-232/EIA-485 with Modbus RTU protocol. The F4 was manufactured in 2001. Cool control is accomplished via two 250W heaters which balance cooling while compressors continue; simultaneously a dump valve in the R-508B system partially abates cooling. Heat control is via one 250W heater. When high stage compressor shuts off the second heater is disabled.

The F4 was set up with parameters known to be valid in this system (TUJR chamber & F4) and control performance was verified. The new parameters installed in the F4 will be sent along in documentation; the original user manual and test data are also included in electronic form. Correct operation of the F4 was well as cooling & heating were verified. Pics show ultimate temperature; both heaters draw correct current. Compressors draw correct current.

Items can be returned for any reason within 30 days of delivery.
Buyers must notify Dougdeals in writing within this period to initiate a return.
Returns must be authorized by Dougdeals and include an assigned RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Authorized returns must be received by Dougdeals within 21 days of return authorization.

Return Shipping and Refunds

If the return is due to seller error (e.g., wrong item sent, defects not described, inauthenticity), DougDeals will cover the return shipping costs and process a complete refund, including the original shipping charges, within two business days of receiving the returned item.
If the return is due to buyer error (e.g., wrong part ordered, compatibility issues, no longer needed, found a better price), the buyer is responsible for:
- Safe return shipping.
- Return shipping costs.
- Any loss or damage during return transit.

Exclusions and Limitations

Replacement or substitute items may be provided at Dougdeals’ discretion instead of a refund.
Returned items must be in the same condition as when sent and include all components.
There is no restocking fee, but Dougdeals reserves the right to deduct costs from refunds for altered or damaged items.
Items returned due to seller error that are found to be accurately described will have return shipping deducted from the refund.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable for orders shipped internationally or to U.S. territories, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Shipping and Responsibility

International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
Any damage occurring during transit via Dougdeals-arranged third-party services or Dougdeals employee delivery must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Failure to do so will result in the buyer assuming responsibility for damage claims.
Dougdeals is not liable for loss or damage during transit via buyer-arranged shipping services.
Customs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and all import-related costs for international shipments are the buyer's responsibility.
