Condition: Used. This chiller is in fair cosmetic condition.  Outside all over are dingy residues of whatever is in the air in a machine shop.  Inside is lots of dust and some aluminum swarf, especially in the bottom.  The liquid lines and reservoir look clean inside, and the filter housing when this system was installed, was full of clear antifreeze-green liquid.  The previous owners had velcro failing to hold the condenser grille in place.  We installed magnet strips on the grille, and it stays in place well.  There is residue from insulation tape outside the Process Inlet and Outlet water fittings.  The paper labels from Silicon Thermal are faded/blurred with liquid damage. The photos show the exact item(s) the buyer will receive.

Notes: This chiller is in good working condition.  It was removed from working service, cooling the spindle of a CNC router.  We looped the inlet to the outlet and topped off the reservoir, and found they were only using this to cool down to 22ºC. We reset the low limit to -2º to allow it to run down to 0º.  It cooled from 22 to 0 in about five minutes, cooling off a liter of filter and a full reservoir of water.  We don't know what kind of coolant mix they were using, so when the water was churning less vigorously in the reservoir at 0º after a few minutes, we figured it was likely freezing inside and set a warmer temperature, and shut down.  The compressor, fan, and pump all ran with normal noises.  The casters make this easy to move around on a hard floor.  No other testing was done. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown.

30-Day Guarantee

  • Items can be returned for any reason within 30 days of delivery.

Return Shipping and Refunds

Exclusions and Limitations

Shipping and Responsibility

  • International and expedited shipping costs, import fees, calibration fees, and testing fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
