Condition: For Parts or Not Working. Comes in non-original packaging. This counter is in fair cosmetic condition, with lots of wear from prior use. There are gouges from tightening the width adjustment. There appear to be two missing pieces which should retain and space the grooved steel part. The foam on the reel holders is degraded. The arms don't seem falling-apart loose, but they are not tight, and wobble if you push on them. The little round brackets to hold tapes in place on the lower arms are all missing.

Notes: This system is in PARTIAL working condition. When the counting wheel turns in either direction, the indicated number counts up or down as appropriate. The motorized reel holders work in both directions and at the speed set by the adjustment knob. However, the motors sound like some rubber part inside is VERY worn-out, and motion is not smooth at low speeds. The counting wheel can't move when the steel groove is tight against the block; the wheel binds up, so the groove has to be about a millimeter away from the block, as shown. No other testing was done.
