This is a strand of 16 Antique Tubular Glass African Trade Beads from the late 19th - early 20th century, possibly older. The beads are Dutch, Czechoslovakian or Russian glass (we are uncertain), however they were collected in Western Africa where they were used as trade beads. The beads are heavy, solid glass and they range in size from .4" (10mm) to .75" (19mm) in diameter.
Condition: The beads have several small chips in the glass and some cosmetic scratches & dimpling and signs of normal wear for beads of this era. Most of the chips in the glass have been worn smooth from age. The photos show the exact item(s) the buyer will receive.
